On September 17, Data Center PARKOVYI gathered IT leaders from the public sector, business, and critical infrastructure to discuss cybersecurity challenges and the development of resilient IT infrastructure.

Oleksandr Tkachenko, Head of IT Infrastructure Development, shared practical solutions for protecting IT architecture during wartime. CISOs, CIOs, and heads of IT and security departments teamed up to present their visions for building resilient IT system architectures.

Volodymyr Pokatilov, Director of Data Center PARKOVYI, spoke about protecting critical business and government data using Retention Lock Backup and Data Domain technologies. He emphasized that undeletable backups have become a key barrier for cybercriminals, enabling businesses to maintain IT resilience even in crisis situations.
Volodymyr also shared his experience implementing VDI in high-load systems, highlighting the importance of stability, scalability, and security in such infrastructure. This approach is not only more efficient than purchasing powerful PCs but also reduces operational costs, lightens the IT team’s workload, and enhances control and security across IT environments.

Serhii Zabirka, CTO of Data Center PARKOVYI, presented a ready-to-use solution based on a private cloud jointly deployed with DELL on the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform. He noted that this architecture enables businesses to accelerate change implementation, optimize IT budgets, improve orchestration, and strengthen infrastructure continuity.
Following a strategic address by Serhii Demediuk, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the forum hosted a panel discussion on IT resilience during wartime featuring:
– Vitalii Balashov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for Cybersecurity and Cloud Technologies
– Ihor Malcheniuk, Director of the Cyber Defense Department, State Special Communications Service
– Tetiana Khabibrakhmanova, Director of the Ukrainian Alliance for Digital Sovereignty
– Oleh Shemetov, Colonel, CISO of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
– Olena Zaverukha, Director of the Digital Transformation Department, Sararol
During the event, participants also introduced a Ukrainian service providing passwordless authentication and multi-factor protection. Hideez is already being implemented in the public and private clouds of the data center and will soon be available to clients as an additional cybersecurity option.
The forum reaffirmed that IT resilience is not merely a technical task but a strategic priority for both business and the state. Special thanks to our partners ST&T — a distributor of advanced cybersecurity solutions — for co-organizing the event.
